ASCERI

The ASCERI is an

Association of the Sports Communities of the European Research Institutes

Their aim is to contribute to an united Europe through regular sports meetings on an international level. The aim is set out in the preamble and in guidelines of the Vademecum:

The Association of the Sports Communities of the European Research Institutes
is to take care of human and sporting contacts
of the members of these public Research Institutes at European level.

The international Sports Meetings are:

ATOMIADE (every three years, first started in 1973)
Winter-ATOMIADE (every three years, first started in 1981)
International Football Tournament IFEF (now every two years, first started in 1966)
International Football Small Field Tournament IFKEF (now every two years, first started in 1984)
International Tennis Tournament ITEF (twice in three years, first started in 1983)
International Golf Tournament IGEF (twice in three years, first started in 1997)

If necessary newsletters for the members will be published.

35 Research Institutes out of 13 countries are associated to the ASCERI .
For all sports meetings within the ASCERI the guidelines of the Vademecum are mandatory.
For the coordination of the sports meetings and the management of ASCERI the delegates have elected a president and two vice-presidents for three years.
